Michael Schumacher Fan Roger Federer Goes High Speed Driving with Mick as He Pledges Allegiance to Mercedes

Roger Federer is the latest famous celebrity that graced the Miami Grand Prix with his presence on Sunday. Other than meeting his old rival Juan Martin Del Potro at the event, the 20-time Grand Slam champion also took a hot drive with Mick Schumacher, who is the son of his idol, Michael.

In the past, Federer has often explained how he looked up to Michael Schumacher during his younger days and took a lot of inspiration from him. And hence, it would have most likely been a pleasure for the Tennis star to now enjoy the high-speed ride with Michael’s son.

F1 fans get ecstatic as Roger Federer attends Miami GP

F1 fans such as Maddy found it heartwarming to see their idol Roger Federer attend the Miami GP. They explained how his retirement from tennis still breaks their hearts.

Meanwhile, some other fans such as Rose expressed their delight in seeing the tennis legend alongside Mick Schumacher.

And then there were some other fans such as Marcos, who found it cute to see the Federer family attend the Miami GP together.

Federer once revealed he took inspiration from Michael Schumacher

While speaking to Daily Show host Trevor Noah last year, Roger Federer revealed that while growing up he took immense inspiration from Michael Schumacher. “When I was growing up, I had Michael Schumacher that I would look up to who was at the top for so long. And I always thought, ‘It is impossible to do that,'” he explained.

When it comes to Michael, words are not enough to describe the legacy he left in the sport. The German legend not only retired as one of the most successful drivers of all time but also as one that inspired several other drivers such as four-time champion Sebastian Vettel, among several others.
