Leclerc on his Q1 exit in Barcelona
The Monegasque driver spoke to Sky Sports as he was out. He said that he couldn’t make it to Q2, “I don’t have the answers for now. The only thing I can say is the left-hand corners were undrivable.”
“The right-hand corners… the feeling was very similar to this morning. There’s just something off in the left-hand corners that we have to analyze and understand,” concluded the 25-year-old, who headed to the Medical Centre following the qualification exit.

Contrastingly, Carlos Sainz found himself in the top row in his home race. Fending off the fantastic Lando Norris in a McLaren, the Spanish driver cemented his start alongside the pole sitter Max Verstappen on Sunday.
This makes a bitter-sweet situation for the Prancing Horse as they potentially have a podium in their hands, while Leclerc looks far off from a point finish. All in all, the 2023 Spanish Grand Prix is promising to be exciting.
