“Pick a Lane”: F1 Twitter Roasts Charles Leclerc for Driving in the Middle of the Road

Charles Leclerc paid a quick visit to Ferrari’s Maranello base ahead of Sunday’s race in Imola. The Monegasque driver arrived at Gestione Sportiva in style and wore Ferrari colors.

While arriving at the Ferrari headquarters Leclerc brought his customized 488 Pista Spider for work. However, fans were left anxious after seeing the 5-GP winner drive his $1 Million worth sports car, in the middle of the road.

Being an F1 driver, Leclerc might not be used to driving in normal traffic. But the sight of him driving casually in the middle of the street left his fans roasting him on Twitter

F1 Twitter reacts to Charles Leclerc driving in the middle of the road

Charles Leclerc was seen driving around the Ferrari’s Maranello complex in his Ferrari 488 Pista Spider. The driver was spotted driving in the middle of the road instead of the specified left lane. A video shared by Twitter user, ‘leclercrews,’ shows the driver breaking and correcting his lane ahead of oncoming traffic.

A user, ‘esserefottuti,’ retweeted the video with the caption reading, “Has Charles heard of lanes?”. Another user ‘ROCtotheworld’ wrote, “Charles is the one driver I always scream at to PICK A LANE!”

Fans even claimed the video made them feel anxious about Leclerc’s driving. A user ‘user51289536’ wrote, “This gives me so much anxiety.” Another user ‘worldchamp44’ took a dig at the Monegasque claiming, “I don’t trust people who casually drive in the middle of the road when there are painted lanes.”

Leclerc once got trolled for his lack of parking skills

Charles Leclerc is a phenomenal driver on the race track. A consecutive GP3 and F2 champion, a 5-time F1 race winner and a Ferrari driver with 19 F1 pole positions are credentials that prove the Monegasque is one of the best drivers on the F1 grid.

However, the driver has often been trolled online for his driving in regular traffic. Recently, the Monegasque was trolled by fans after a Twitter user, ‘leclercsletters’ shared a post showing the driver’s poor parking skills.

The Ferrari driver was spotted taking half of Lando Norris’ parking space at a race venue. While another photo showed the driver parking too close to another car.

The driver might be one of the brightest talents on the grid and maybe a future world champion. However, Leclerc needs to brush up on his parking skills in the meantime.
