According to People, Shakira and Hamilton are in fact in the initial stages of their reported romantic relationship.

Rumors about Shakira and Hamilton first started emerging after the 2023 Miami GP. The Colombian singer was in attendance trackside, cheering Hamilton on along with many of his friends. At the moment, most people felt that Shakira was just visiting an old friend in Hamilton since the latter was in the United States.

After the race, however, pictures of them spending time away from the track became viral. It all started with them going on a boat ride together, followed by pictures of Shakira and Hamilton at parties and dinners. Rumors about them dating grew even stronger after Shakira was spotted at the Spanish GP last weekend, and now, many reports point towards them actually being in a relationship.

Fans have been waiting for a long time to hear news about Hamilton and Shakira’s rumored relationship. While neither of them has spoken about it, People states that they are keeping things “fun and flirty.”

According to People, a credible source has told them that, “They’re spending time together and in the ‘getting to know you’ stage,” says a source who knows them both. “It’s fun and flirty.”

As soon as this news started circulating around the internet, fans lost it. Expectedly, a lot of them took to Twitter to share some hilarious and eye-catching reactions to Shakira being in a relationship with the seven-time world champion.

F1 fans on Twitter never disappoint when it comes to providing some striking reactions after a big news breaks out. The same thing happened as soon as some fans realized that Hamilton and Shakira may actually be dating.

“TeamLH finally has a mother,” Stefanie wrote on Twitter. This is in reference to Shakira’s kids, who belong to her previous relationship with Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique.

Speaking of Pique, one fan decided to roast the former Barcelona player by referencing to Shakira’s diss track on her ex. She compared Pique to a Twingo, and now, the fan writes, “Shakira really DID upgrade from a Twingo to a Mercedes.” 

Some fans, however, seem (jokingly) concerned about Hamilton’s chances of winning an eighth world title. JG feels that Hamilton won’t be able to concentrate on racing anymore.
