Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz is reportedly all set to join Audi, having already signed a pre-contract agreement with the team. The Spaniard is likely making this move after he seemingly suggested recently that Ferrari is favoring Charles Leclerc over him. As the rumors surrounding Sainz’s future continue, former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher claims that the 28-year-old has lost faith in the Prancing Horse.
The rumors of Sainz possibly leaving Ferrari have risen ever since the former McLaren driver raised concerns about Ferrari leaving his future in the air. Sainz made it clear that he was not happy with the Italian outfit not having provided clarity about his future as he is keen to know where he would be racing.

In stark contrast, reports have emerged recently that Ferrari have already offered Leclerc another blockbuster deal. Hence, as Sainz’s future at Ferrari remains uncertain, it seems that Audi has pounced on the opportunity.
Ralf Schumacher claims Carlos Sainz has lost faith in Ferrari
Amid all the speculations going on around the future of Carlos Sainz, Ralf Schumacher recently claimed that the Spaniard does not trust Ferrari anymore. As quoted by formulapassion.it, the German said, “I have the feeling that Carlos Sainz has lost faith in the team“.
The speculations surrounding the Spaniard’s future have increased all the more ever since rumors emerged that Ferrari had offered Charles Leclerc an extension despite team principal Fred Vasseur having stated previously that the side was in no hurry to offer their drivers new contracts.
With the Monegasque’s future now seeming secure, it will be interesting to see if Sainz remains at Ferrari or not.
Ferrari reportedly offer Charles Leclerc a $198,500,000 contract
Four years after Charles Leclerc signed a record-breaking deal with Ferrari, it seems that the 25-year-old is all set to sign yet another blockbuster contract. As per a report from sportune.20minutes.fr, the Monegasque will receive a whopping $198,500,000 for his new five-year contract.
This means that he would earn approximately $40,000,000 each year, an increase of $16,000,000 from his previous deal. If this rumor is true, it could be another indication that Ferrari is possibly favoring Leclerc over Carlos Sainz, thereby leaving the Spaniard increasingly frustrated with the team.
