The 2019 F1 season is just round the corner now, with teams getting ready to reveal their cars for the 2019 season before the all important winter testing in Barcelona.
Liberty Media and the FIA have introduced new aerodynamic plans for the 2019 season, one that could help promote overtaking, in turn improving the overall spectacle of the sport.
All teams had to agree to the rules before they were put in motion, and while Liberty Media and the FIA succeeding in doing that, Liberty couldn’t get all teams to agree to their plan of having a joint launch for the 2019 season F1 cars.
Liberty had planned for a gala event, one that would involve all teams, but teams did not want to divide attention with their competition on such a big day.
US sport business site JohnWallStreet claims that Liberty Media is looking to "decrease" its stake in F1, and is considering everything from "an exit to the introduction of new equity partners"

As spotted by @FormulaMoney, a report from @HowieLongShort says that Liberty Media is exploring a possible sale of @F1, whether partial or full.
– Full sale would come as a shock given Liberty just bought F1 in '17 and is early on in turnaround plan.

“The teams rejected the proposal because they did not want to share attention with the competition.” as reported AMuS.
Now, all teams will be revealing their cars before Barcelona testing, with a few teams set to hold their launch events just before testing.
However, most of the teams would be revealing their cars on social media itself.

Racing Point, however, is holding a launch in Canada, but the 2019 car won’t be available for fans to see. The 2018 car with the 2019 livery would be on display during the launch.
