Manchester City ran riot over a hapless Chelsea defence as the side scored six goals in the league game earlier tonight.
Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick, while goals from Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan completed utter domination from the host side. Manchester City moved to the top of the table once again in the Premier League with the win.
City scored their first four goals inside 35 minutes as they led a series of attacks penetrating the Chelsea defence.
With this loss, Chelsea have fallen to the sixth position in the Premier League. Manchester United have now entered the top four, while Arsenal are now fifth.
Fans also noticed how Chelsea announced the goals as they took place throughout the game against Manchester City, and couldn’t help but laugh at the side’s sorry state in the game.
