Fans think Cristiano Ronaldo called for offside after Paulo Dybala scores winner for Juventus

Fans think Cristiano Ronaldo called for offside after Paulo Dybala scores the winner against Lokomotiv Moscow for Juventus last night.

Paulo Dybala made headlines last night after he scored a brace to make Juventus win in the third group stage match in the Champions League against Lokomotiv Moscow.

Amidst this, fans have spotted something really unusual, as it has been highlighted that Cristiano Ronaldo called for offside after his teammate scored the 2nd goal on the rebound after Alex Sandro’s strike was parried by the Lokomotiv goalkeeper.

Ronaldo was actually in an offside position and made a move towards the ball initially before Dybala got their first, and to some, it looked like the five-time Ballon d’Or winner raised his hand to ask for offside.

The Portuguese International raised his hands in the air and for a second he made a glance at a referee on the sideline. Thus, for a second, it could be thought that Ronaldo is actually asking for an offside.

Ronaldo has earlier been accused of being selfish in terms of sharing goals with his teammates but this seems a bit of a stretch, as his actions are probably being misunderstood over here.

It can be seen in the video that Ronaldo was making a fist bump in the air to celebrate the goal and probably looked at the sideline referee to check whether his teammate is at the offside position or not.

Nevertheless, Juventus made a dramatic comeback against the Russian side after the former conceded earlier in the game, but a fortunate ending by Dybala made the Italian champions remain at the top of their group.

Now, Juventus’ will visit Lokomotiv Moscow’s ground in the next Champions League group stage clash, over where Juventus will probably face much more adversaries.
