Valorant: Who are the New G2 Esports Members? LFT OXY, Penny and Wippie Explained

The new G2 Esports Valorant emmbers include LFT OXY, Wippie, and Penny. These are familiar names for people who follow Ranked culture.

G2 Esports is gearing up for the 2023 season by admitting some known players and one unknown but mechanically skilled talent. LFT OXY is a ranked demon who has played with Shroud, Tarik, and many other professional players. He has good game sense and is one of the most confident duelists. He will be a great addition to G2 as it is his first S Tier team. Let us talk more about Wippie and Penny.

Wippie, OXY, and Penny: The Young Talent of the New Valorant G2 Esports

Wippie is a CS player who has been in the Esports competitive scene for quite a while. He was an integral part of Version 1 when they were in the LCQ leading up to Masters 2. Version 1 was a hit-and-miss team; however, they had one of the best rosters in NA. It consisted of Zellsis, Zander, Wippie, Penny Effys, and Wardell as a stand-in. These names are well-known in the NA Valorant circuit. Wippie’s role was as a Sentinel, so he rotated between Chamber, Sage, and Killjoy, whatever the team needed at the time.

Penny is the resident duelist who can also play Chamber at times. His stats on Raze and Jett are impressive. He was also seen playing Initiator roles like Kayo and Skye during tournaments. He is also a former CS: GO player; his first organization was V1. It is impressive, considering former CS: GO players do not get many contracts quickly unless they have made an impact in the game or are well-known.

Under ShahZam and Dapr, OXY, penny, and Wippie will make an impact in the 2023 season. However, due to its controversial backstory, we do not know if G2 is qualified for any tournament yet. We will find out soon enough. The Sao Paolo invitational, which has 30 teams, will start from February 2023. To get more information about this team, click here.
