The new details were shared on Twitter a few days after the initial teaser. The lack of a single-player campaign in F1 22 was quite apparent, especially after F1 2021’s beloved Braking Point. It seems that the narrative-driven story mode returns this year with veteran antagonist Devon Butler. The teaser trailer also revealed a new fictional F1 team for the game called Konnersport. Shot with prominent public figures in the F1 community, the trailer has been followed up with the cover art for the game.
While the reveal is just under two days away, a few details have been revealed via leakers. Reputed leaker billbil-kun stated that the next entry to the franchise will come out between June 13 and June 20. EA Play members and Champion’s Edition owners can expect to play three days before the Standard Edition releases. With the series being annualized, the F1 22 release date of June 28, 2022 lines up with this anticipated date.
The reveal trailer will debut at this link on YouTube, at 4 PM BST on May 3, 2023. With the 8-minute Konnersport reveal teasing a story mode, fans are expecting a more fleshed-out release than F1 22. The current installment has been criticized for its plethora of bugs, and features that no one asked for, like F1 Life. However, only the reveal trailer will tell if F1 Life returns or becomes a relic.
