EA Sports has already begun preparing for the FIFA 23 Player of the Month for April. They have commenced the elections for the Bundesliga after taking votes for Serie A and Premier League POTM. On May 10, EA Sports released a short list of the most significant players in the primary German football league.
However, the developers require the assistance of fans in selecting the best from that list. As a result, fans have only a few days to vote for the Bundesliga player they believe is deserving of the Player of the Month for April. The winner would receive a special card, which would have boosted stats and would be available via FIFA 23 Ultimate Team’s SBC.
The FIFA 23 Bundesliga POTM nominees for April
There are many elite players playing in the elite league of German soccer, but only six managed to catch the attention of Electronic Arts in April. Those six elite Bundesliga players are:
- Donyell Malen – Borussia Dortmund
- Moussa Diaby – Bayer 04 Leverkusen
- Josha Vagnoman – VfB Stuttgart
- Benjamin Pavard – FC Bayern Munchen
- Timo Werner – RB Leipzig
- Jeremie Frimpong – Bayer 04 Leverkusen
FC Bayern Munchen is once again dominating the Bundesliga thanks to its elite squad. But there is one player from that squad who stood out the most in April. It was none other than Benjamin Pavard, who has been playing a vital part in Bayern Munchen’s defense. This is the reason for his getting on Electronic Art’s POTM radar.
The other German powerhouse club Borussia Dortmund is sitting just behind the Bundesliga leaders. Dortmund has also been such a force because of many talented elite soccer players donning those yellow and black stripes. The 24-year-old striker Donyell Malen has been one of the best performers for them, especially in the last month.
Although RB Leipzig is not that close to Dortmund on the table, they are still third in the league. One of the reasons behind these results is the number of goals Timo Wener is scoring for them. But he was possibly in his best form last month, which got him nominated for FIFA 23 Player of the Month.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen might not be doing as well as the aforementioned clubs, but they are still among the top 10 German clubs. Their right-back Jeremie Frimpong once again impressed the world with his performance in April. Further, the VfB Stuttgart right-back also showcased great performances in April, earning him the nomination for Bundesliga POTM.
