EA Sports have presented FIFA 23 fans another opportunity to grab another exciting Shapeshifters card. The Pepe Reina Shapeshifters objective is now live in Ultimate Team. So here is everything they need to know before trying to acquire this card.
The Shapeshifters is a unique campaign by EA Sports for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. But this is different from the other in-game campaigns, as it not only upgrades some FUT player cards but also offers new abilities, skills, and positions. The Villarreal CF goalkeeper Pepe Reina is the latest addition to the Shapeshifters.
The 40-year-old Spanish great was not part of the first two Shapeshifters teams. The FIFA 23 developers eventually made him part of this campaign with an unexpected positioning. But this special FUT card is exclusively available as a reward for completing an in-game objective.
About the FIFA 23 Pepe Reina Shapeshifters
Pepe Reina has a 77-rated Common Gold card with decent stats. Most fans might use it in their early Ultimate Team games or for completing SBCs. But after becoming part of the Shapeshifters series, it is a card everyone would want in their squads. This new card is 92-rated with the following incredible new stats:
- Pace – 92
- Shooting – 94
- Passing – 89
- Dribbling – 90
- Defending – 70
- Physicality – 91
Reina is a Goalkeeper (GK) for Villarreal CF, which even his default FUT card shows. But EA Sports moved him to an outfield position after adding him to the Shapeshifters. He is now a Striker (ST) who can also play as Center Forward (CF). Further, he is also rewarded with 4-Star Skills and a 5-Star Weak Foot to become an absolute goalscoring machine.

EA Sports have presented this high-rated FUT card for free. Fans can get their hands on the Pepe Reina Shapeshifters card by completing a simple in-game objective. But they can still spend money on this objective by buying player cards to build a more competitive squad.
The following are the steps to complete this FIFA 23 Ultimate Team objective:
- Spread the Field: Fans must assist eight goals in any Ultimate Team mode.
- Wall of Defense: They must win two Ultimate Team matches with clean sheets.
- Spanish Threat: They must score in three separate Ultimate Team matches with a Spanish player.
- La Liga Winner: Finally, fans must win seven FUT matches with at least three La Liga players in the Starting XI.
NOTE: If players want to complete this objective through Squad Battles, the matches shouldn’t be played below the Semi-Pro difficulty.
