The first-person shooter legend Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek recently shared his opinion on easily climbing ranks in Valorant. The former Counter-Strike (CS) pro claimed the agents don’t impact the in-game rank climbing.

Shroud doesn’t need any introduction to the gaming community. When gamers think about a professional FPS player, one of the first names to come to mind is Shroud. He was once among the elite CS players in the world. Although he might have become a streamer, he continues to showcase his skills in video games.

The 29-year-old FPS legend doesn’t play much Counter-Strike these days. He instead plays the latest popular FPS title of Riot Games. And his vast knowledge helped quite a few players. His fans always seek advice from him to get better at Valorant.

Shroud claimed Valorant agents aren’t important

Valorant may have been the most popular first-person shooter in recent years. After all, more players are joining the game over time. But they all have the same goal to rise through the ranks. As a result, the internet is full of advice to help gamers make their way to the top ranks.

Fans might have often asked Shroud which agents to use to climb the ranks. So the FPS pro finally answered this after winning a Valorant match on the livestream. The 29-year-old claimed it doesn’t matter which agent they use in the game. But what they should aim for is their shots shouldn’t miss.

“It doesn’t matter what character you are, as long as, you’re clicking some f*cking heads. So [if] somebody said like is this character good to climb ranks, is this character good; any of those characters are fine. What’s important is you gotta get your kills. The rest of it doesn’t matter.”

Valorant features a variety of characters with different skills and abilities to choose from and then use in a match. It is easy for players to have confusion about which character is the best to use. But now Shroud’s advice might help them. After all, he is an eSports legend and plans to compete at the pro level again with his own Valorant team.

Talking about Valorant characters, there are rumors that Riot Games are planning to introduce new agents for the game’s mobile edition. The Valorant Mobile is currently under development and will feature many new features. So click here to learn about the latest rumors related to this upcoming video game.
