Xbox is one of the heavyweights in the gaming industry, known for its consoles. The American company often comes up with unique editions of their consoles to compete against their Japanese rivals like PlayStation and Nintendo. Recently, Xbox joined hands with Paramount Pictures to create a controller which smells like Pizza to promote the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie.
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” is a comedy sci-fi movie that will hit cinemas on August 2, 2023. It is the story of the four iconic ninja turtle brothers: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. They came out of hiding to be accepted by the human population for their heroic actions.
The Pizza-Scented Xbox Controller
Xbox unveiled a unique-looking Xbox Wireless Controller with an ooze-green appearance to pair with the turtles. Moreover, there are four variations of this special gaming equipment, which also has the signature colors of the four turtle brothers with the classic green. However, this controller is not only about appearance.

The American company didn’t stop after creating a controller that only visually presents the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme. They also installed a scent diffuser to it that releases the smell of Pizza. Moreover, this defuser is shaped to resemble a slice of delicious Pizza. TMNT fans are well aware of the love among their beloved turtles for this Italian-origin dish.
But Xbox made this unique controller in a limited quantity, so only a few fans can get it. Additionally, they can’t buy it from stores, as Fans need to participate in a giveaway to obtain it. This giveaway will run from July 24 to August 13, 2023. But fans living in New York City can try it in the Microsoft Experience Center’s Xbox Gaming Lounge on Fifth Avenue on August 2, 2023.
