The official live stream revealed a lot of details about the upcoming Genshin Impact 3.7 update like new events, features, and banners. The new version will be available on May 24.
The 3.7 update is approaching soon in Genshin Impact and several details about the same patch were revealed by HoYoverse during the recent Twitch livestream. Additionally, the developer also revealed three redemption codes for you to claim rewards from. The release date for the 3.7 patch in Genshin Impact is May 24 which will be available after a short period of maintenance.
Version 3.7, officially called the “Duel! The Summoners’ Summit!”, and will focus mainly on a major update on the Genius Invokation TGC aspect of the game along with new quests and events. The following section of the article covers a brief summary of the Genshin Impact 3.7 live stream.
Genshin Impact 3.7 update: character and weapon banners
Both phases of the upcoming update will see reruns of five-star characters rather than new releases. The first phase, releasing on May 24 will feature Yoimiya and Yae Miko. In the second phase, five stars will be Kaedahara Kazuha and Alhaitham.
Additionally, players can anticipate the arrival of Kirara, a four-star Dendro character who wields a sword, in the first phase of the update. With Kirara joining the roster, players will have another potent Dendro character to utilize, offering additional benefits for exploration and combat.
The weapon banners will include the signature weapons of the featured five-star characters. This means that the Thundering Pulse will make a return along with Kagura’s Verity in the first phase, followed by the Freedom Sworn and Light of Foliar Incision.
Events and TCG updates
According to the name of the event, the game will introduce an event based on a TCG tournament. This main event storyline of the update will be consisting of four different minigames called Tour of Wonders, Zero Hour Invokation, Evermotion Mechanical Painting, and Heart of the Dice. Each of these involves distinct game modes and some element of TCG.
Several new cards, including all the Archons and monsters along with action cards, will also be released as part of the TCG feature. To top everything off, a PvE mode where players can choose difficulty levels and other settings will also be released with the update alongside a PvP mode.
Another event called Divine Ingenuity: Collector’s Chapter will be having a rerun where players will be able to design their own domains and share them with others after clearing them.
Feast of the Departed Warriors is a combat-based event that will need players to fight against bosses like the Thunder Manifestation in a domain. Additionally, players will need to help out a researcher in another fighting-based event called the Fayz Trials: Hypothesis where they will be able to use trial characters.
Quests and hangouts
The Genshin Impact 3.7 update will include two new quests as a part of the story quests and hangouts section. Kaveh, introduced as a four-star in the last update will be receiving his own hangout series. Furthermore, Yoimiya will be receiving another story quest which will be her second character story. Both of these will require Story Keys which you can obtain by finishing Daily Commissions.
Lastly, Charlotte, a reporter from Fontaine was introduced as a part of the main event storyline and might be seen as a playable in future updates of Genshin Impact.
