After skipping the Players Championship, Tiger Woods has finally confirmed his participation in the field of Masters Tournament in April. Also, his name has been registered on the official Masters page. Thus, this will be Woods’ first PGA Tour start after he withdrew from the Genesis Invitational due to health concerns.
Woods was only witnessed at the Seminole Pro-Member event. But other than that he missed out on the big money tournaments. His absence from the Players field spiked curiosity because as in last year’s Hero World Challenge, the 15x major winner admitted that he’d play once a month, including “something in March, near the Players.” Apart from Woods, which other players received a Masters invite?

Rahm couldn’t defend his title at the Sentry, the American Express, and the Genesis Invitational so it is likely that the two-time major winner will go all out to retain his favorite green jacket. A fierce gameplay was already witnessed at TPC Sawgrass, making Players as competitive as a major. Thus, a lot more is expected from the Masters week.
