Haas have confirmed their team colour for the 2019 season.

Having opted for red, grey, and black during the last three seasons, there is a change of colour after signing a new contract with Rich Energy.

After long anticipation, Haas have confirmed that they will be wearing the black and gold outfit in 2019 after signing a new sponsorship deal with the United Kingdom energy drink Rich Energy.

In the hopes of returning to the famous colour combination of Lotus cars in the 1970s and 1980, they have decided to paint their uniform with black and gold.

They shared a picture of their drivers Romain Grosjean, Kevin Magnussen, and Pietro Fittipaldi each beckoned in the colour while posing for a photo.

Rich Energy, who were rivaling Red Bull off the track have made their intentions clear to break into the F1 and avert success on the track.

Before being announced as sponsor for Haas, Rich Energy showed interest in taking over Force India when their team in administration.

After finishing eighth on a couple of occasions, the team stepped up and finished four last season. They will be looking to improve from the last season to gain much more success.

The team also confirmed that they will be unveiling their new car for the next season on February 7, Thursday.

Haas will be the first team to unveil their car for the new campaign, followed by the likes of Toro Rosso, Renault, Racing Point, Mercedes, Red Bull, McClaren, Ferrari, and Alfa Romeo.

Haas Chief Principal, Guenther Steiner spoke about the importance of retaining their top two drivers Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen.

“From the very beginning, we needed experienced drivers to hasten the development of our car and our team, and we have two very good and experienced drivers in Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen. We’ve improved drastically from last year to this year, so retaining both drivers was a pretty easy decision,” he said.

After acquiring the signature of Pietro Fittipaldi, Guenther Steiner was happy to welcome him as he has won lots of accolades in the Junior competitions.

“I’m pleased to welcome Pietro Fittipaldi to Haas F1 Team and we look forward to working with him. He brings a championship-winning pedigree from his junior open-wheel career, and more recently he has acquitted himself well running in the IndyCar series. We’re happy to provide Pietro his first test in a Formula One car off the back of those experiences. His subsequent role testing, and the feedback he’ll provide in support of our 2019 campaign, will no doubt further contribute to Haas F1 Team’s growth and development in Formula One.”

It will be an intriguing contest and there is no doubt that Haas will be working on their improvement to seal a place in the top three.
