Mumbai Indians have once again started a season slowly, as they are yet to pick up a win in IPL 2018. You could call them unlucky, as they have lost two last over thrillers to CSK and SRH in their opening matches.

Rohit Sharma’s form has been a concern for the side, as the MI captain is critical to team. After failing in the first two matches, Rohit will be expected to fire sooner rather than later, as the brilliant right hander will look to continue his outstanding IPL record.

Jasprit Bumrah needs to up his game as well, as the fast bowler is yet to click into gear this season. While the Fizz came back strongly in the last match, Bumrah will now be required to show us why he is one of the premier bowlers in the world.

But in some good news, Hardik Pandya is expected to start in today’s match, as the all-rounder should be fine to play. This is what Shane Bond had to say about Pandya’s fitness,

“Look we didn’t want to risk him for this game (SRH), considering he rolled his ankle in the last game. We will go back and he has been in Mumbai for the last couple of days. We are hopeful that he will be fit for the next game.”

Mumbai will need their retained core of Rohit, Hardik and Bumarh to fire soon, as MI have built their side around these three. With a big match against Delhi today, the Wankhede will be expecting these three to shine tonight!
