Has Lio Rush left WWE? The troubled starlet has removed all mentions of WWE from his Social media accounts and has added his email for bookings.
Lio Rush, The Man of the Hour has been in the eye of the storm lately following reports of his backstage heat. There have been reports that the wrestler has refused to follow wrestling etiquettes such as junior wrestlers standing at guerrilla position with water bottles for the Senior wrestlers after they’ve had their match. PWInsider had also reported that there were multiple complaints made about Rush bringing his wife backstage and allowing her to change clothes in the women’s locker room, dating back to the 2018 European tour. The wrestling star has however denied the accusation on twitter and said that he and his wife have always conducted themselves professionally.
( Part 1 ) I am not “out of the locker room.” More dirt sheet assumptions. Many spouses and family members come to shows and are welcome backstage. Our performance schedules are not just RAW, we have 3 live shows a week, travel days, and PPVs. My wife came to share my first.. https://t.co/OWVKb2wcC5

( Part 2 ) ..wrestle mania moment with me, as did many families of the WWE roster. The little time that a professional wrestler can spend with their family is rare and precious. I conduct myself professionally and respectfully and so does my wife. https://t.co/OWVKb2wcC5

In the midst of all of this there are speculations of Rush asking a WWE release to prove himself outside. There have been no official confirmations from Rush or WWE. However, the superstar has removed all mention of WWE from his Social Media Accounts.
Lio Rush has even gone so far as to add an email to his bio where he’s apparently accepting bookings now! WWE may define their wrestlers as independent contractors but they are still exclusively signed to them. Only under very rare circumstances have wrestlers performed for other promotions while still signed to the WWE. This doesn’t look like one of them.
Conclusion
This is quite possibly a very big hint that he has surely left the WWE. It could also be a temper tantrum and an attempt to get under the skin of the higher ups. It’s hard to imagine he’d last long anyway if it was the latter. However, with news of multiple wrestler’s wanting to leave the company and them trying to tie down their talents for the long haul, it will be interesting to see how they deal with this situation. Hopefully there will be a clarity in this matter soon enough in the future.
