PSG teammates said ‘Se Queda’ to Neymar after Barcelona transfer failed to materialize.
Among the football fans, the word ‘Se Queda’ became familiar after Gerard Pique’s post in 2017. The Spanish centre-back posted a photo with Neymar two years before, with the caption reading ‘Se Queda’ which translates to ‘He stays’. But, the Brazilian completed a world-record transfer to PSG later that month only for that post to bite Pique at the end.
Neymar, who was linked with a move back to Barcelona, is staying put after the failure of the deal to materialize. The Brazilian was desperate for a Camp Nou switch, but the deal did not go through because of Ousmane Dembele’s refusal to go out on loan.
And when the star forward confirmed he was staying put in Paris, his teammates trolled him by saying “se queda” multiple times to him, according to RMC Sport.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have courted Neymar all summer but to no avail. His inability to secure a move back to Spain comes as a relief to his PSG teammates.
An anonymous PSG player said: “It was a relief. It’s important for the project and above all prevents us from strengthening Barça. Better to play with a Neymar who’s a bit sad, than against a Neymar in top form.”

Thomas Tuchel will not only be able to keep Neymar at Parc Des Princes, but sign Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan on loan with an option to buy. The Parisians have also signed Keylor Navas to strengthen their hopes of lifting the Champions League.
