How to Uninstall Valorant: A Step by Step Guide!

There might be a variety of reasons why you want to uninstall Valorant. Maybe you are tired of all the Immortal players in your unrated lobbies ruining your Saturday evening or maybe you just want to take a break. No matter what it is, this guide will help you do that. Today we will take a look at how you can uninstall the game in just a few steps.

With all the 13-year-olds roaming around the game playing 10 hours a day, it is difficult to keep up. While improving is an option, sometimes you just want to quit.

Uninstalling Valorant by Removing Riot Vanguard First

Removing Riot Vanguard is going to be the first step to uninstalling this game. To do that click on the bottom right corner of the PC, on the system tray. The system tray is in control of multiple background apps running. Most prominently you will find the NVIDIA settings and Windows security. You will see Riot Vanguard as well.

Right-click on Riot Vanguard and select exit. When a pop-up appears, click on “Yes.” Now, the next step is to press your Windows key and search for the “Add or Remove Programs” option. Click on the said option and a new window will open displaying multiple apps you have on your PC. Now, scroll down to find Riot Vanguard or search for it in the search bar. Now click on the three dots on the side of the app and you will see the option to Modify or Uninstall Vanguard.

Click on Uninstall. After Vanguard uninstalls, you will need to find Valorant. When you do repeat the same process and you will be able to uninstall Valorant. Here is a summary of everything we do so it is easier to follow along.

Summary

  • Disable Vanguard through System Tray.
  • Now click on the Windows button and search for “Add or Remove Programs.”
  • Navigate to Vanguard, click on the three dots, and Click Uninstall.
  • Do the same thing with VALORANT.
