A few years ago, Alvaro Morata was equalizing for Juventus in the Champions League final against Barcelona. The talented Spaniard showed his poacher instincts, as he tucked the ball into the net following Ter Stegen’s initial save from Carlos Tevez.
His goal ultimately proved to be in vain, but his exploits that year, especially in the Champions League, made Morata into one of the most coveted players in the world.
Two years later, Morata finds himself at Chelsea at a critical stage of his career. Still only 24, the striker realizes that he needs to take his game to the next level in order to truly justify his enormous talent.
Morata should take a look at Fernando Torres, and see how ‘El Nino’ stepped up his level when he moved to Liverpool from Atletico Madrid.
The big price tag did not faze Torres, as for a couple of years he was the best striker on the planet during his time at Anfield.
And Morata realizes this, which is why spoke about his desire to ‘explode’ his career.
“I need to make an explosion in my career and I am at the perfect place, the perfect club to do that.”
“I have all the things I need and if I can work hard, I can make good things happen. I have very big motivation, I always think like a winner and I want to win everything it is possible to win. ”

“Last season the team won the Premier League and now we can try to win it again, and maybe the Champions League.”
“It is the perfect situation. I decided to play in the Premier League and I want to play in Antonio’s team. Now I need to work hard, score goals and play well for the team. ”
“There are very good players here and I think we can do something amazing. It is hard to leave Madrid but it is not so hard when you come to a club like Chelsea, with these players and with this coach.”
