India vs South Africa Test series history: Head-to-Head statistics of IND vs SA ahead of Pune Test

India vs South Africa Test series history: The Sports Rush present before you the Head to Head record for IND vs SA in Test matches.

The second Test of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of India will be played tomorrow at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. While the match will give India a chance to further strengthen their position in the ICC World Test Championship, it will give South Africa a chance to register their first victory in the tournament.

Apart from banking on the positives from the last Test in Visakhapatnam, South Africa would also be working on the fact that India had lost their last Test in Pune.

While the onus largely appears on the South African batting unit, it is their bowlers who will have to make sure that they dismiss the Indian batsmen at a below par total – much like Australia did to India (105 and 107) at Pune in 2017. One can also not rule out the toss factor which is likely to play a crucial role for the visiting team tomorrow.

If India wins this match, they will gain an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match Test series. In such a scenario, the home team will also continue their unbeaten spree in the format at home.
