Transfer in: Manish Pandey, Chris Woakes

Now, I already have Sandeep Sharma and Glenn Maxwell in my team for this game.

The first player that I get in is Manish Pandey, due to the reasons mentioned in the IPL Fantasy League section.

Now, to bring in an overseas player I’ll need transfer out David Warner, as all other foreign players have a match either today or tomorrow. But when I transfer Warner out and just get in a bowler, it upsets my squad balance. So, I’ll need to get in a batsman or an all rounder in order to keep up with the squad balance constraint.

This brings me to one from Woakes and Amla. While Woakes hasn’t done anything of note yet, he could be amongst the wickets on the newly laid, seamer friendly Eden wicket. As mentioned earlier, Amla would be up against a quality fast bowling attack and even if he survives, he wouldn’t be able to score very quickly. So, in order to account for the squad balance issue, I get in Chris Woakes here.
