Ambati Rayudu feels CSK is the best IPL team

Star CSK batsman Ambati Rayudu who ended with more than 600 runs in IPL 2018 feels that Chennai Super Kings are the best team.

Chennai Super kings returned to the IPL this year with fans cheering from all corners. They had been in wilderness for two years and the fans could not wait to have them back. Although it was expected that their popularity may take a dip but as absence makes the heart grow fonder, the ban actually worked in their favour.

CSK took the shortest road to the finals, defeating SRH in the Qualifier 1. However, SRH came right back on track after beating KKR in the Qualifier 2. The Kane Williamson led team locked horns against Chennai Super Kings in the finals of IPL 2018 in the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday, only to bow out ultimately.

Ambati Rayudu has been the highest scoring batsman for CSK this season. He has batted both in the middle order and at the top. Despite frequent shuffles in the batting order, Rayudu has remained unflustered and has delivered for the team.

In 15 matches, Rayudu has scored 586 runs at an average of more than 40. He has also notched up a century. On the back of his consistent performances, he even broke through in the Indian ODI squad touring England.

After CSK’s final win, Rayudu came up with heartfelt tweet for the team with the caption that CSK is the best IPL team.
