This is their first win at the Chinnaswamy after six straight defeats last season. It was an important win, as RCB’s home form is going to be very crucial in their pursuit of the their first IPL crown.
RCB had a very impressive outing against the Kings and showed their talent in all the fields of the game.
BATTING
RCB are not expected to make a lot of changes to their staring XI. However the form of Brendon McCullum might force them to make changes. Virat could be promoted to the opening spot and they could swap in Colin de Grandhomme as an all rounder.
Their bowling was threatening, the batting was solid and their fielding strong. Virat misfiring in both of the games is a matter of concern for the Challengers but ABD has looked sublime and it’s a big positive for them.
BOWLING
Umesh Yadav has been out of the national team for a while now but he has had an exceptional start to the IPL. He looks faster, stronger and has a sense of tenacity to him.
In the last match KXIP were going all guns blazing and Virat handed him ball. He not only derailed the flow of runs but also took 3 wickets in that over.
RCB would be hoping to continue their form from their last match when they host the Royals from Rajasthan. Rajasthan also come with a win under their belt and this promises to be an excellent game of cricket.
