Complete list of umpires for IPL 2019: The Sportsrush presents before you the full list of umpires for IPL 2019.

Much like any other sports tournament, the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League involves a predominant role on the part of the umpires. A total of 13 umpires are officiating in IPL 2019.

Contrary to the expectations, the umpiring standards had received a hit in the initial phase of the tournament on the back of a few infamous on-field decisions.

The biggest talking point at one point in time with respect to umpiring in IPL 2019 was Kings XI Punjab captain mankading Rajasthan Royals wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler.

Mumbai Indians fast bowler Lasith Malinga’s no-ball going unnoticed had invited stringent reactions from Royal Challenegrs Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma.

Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik was also involved in an argument with umpires during KKR’s match against Kings XI Punjab.

Despite all of this, the recent matches in the IPL have seen an improved brand of umpiring which has been dully accepted by both players and fans.
