It looks like AD won’t be playing in the Christmas game. LeBron James and the Lakers will have to carry the load in his absence. And it will be a big one.
AD’s stats for the 2022-23 season
Davis has been in scintillating form for the Lakers. Right before his injury, he was averaging career-highs in points and rebounds. He was also putting up all-time numbers and helped pick up crucial wins over the likes of the Nuggets and the Bucks.
Davis was putting up 27.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks. On both ends of the floor, Davis’ impact was undeniable. Facing a lethal Luka Doncic, the Lakers will have hoped for Davis’ presence.
Unfortunately, they will have to rely on LeBron James.
