Steve Nash made it clear he would speak nothing about James Harden and his alleged demand to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets.

Over the past week or so, James Harden, who was supposed to be at training camp with the rest of the Rockets team, has been absconding. He’s been spotted partying with Lil Baby, first in Atlanta, and then in Las Vegas. It seems The Beard is still in Las Vegas, judging from video evidence found last night.

It has reached a point where even the Rockets head coach has run out of answers for the media. From saying James Harden is still part of his plans for the upcoming season, Stephen Silas has had to state that he’s unaware of Harden’s intentions.
Steve Nash negates any talk linking James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets
As the new head coach of a franchise looking to make a championship run, Steve Nash is under immense pressure as things stand. The 2-time MVP is yet to know the status of whether the Nets are in any position to make a run for the 2018 NBA MVP.
Even if he does know, the media should know better than to ask the head coach about what the front office is doing. They can’t expect any answer other than what Nash gave to them:
Nash on trade rumors w/ James Harden, calls them “the elephant in the room.” How do they deal with that? “We leave the elephant be.” #Nets #NBA

If James Harden is going to be traded from the Rockets, they will definitely drive a hard bargain. They are all in on the current roster, and even with Harden out of the picture, they would be expected to be involved in the playoffs. A healthy John Wall with Boogie Cousins is not a duo to be scoffed at.
