James Rodriguez to Real Madrid: The forward, who currently plays for Bayern Munich on loan from Real, could be set to return to Spain.
Real Madrid had an uneventful transfer window this summer as the club was reluctant to replace the outgoing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The results of Ronaldo’s departure visible on the pitch, as Real suffered their worst goalless run in club’s history.
Moreover, Julen Lopetegui, the manager who Real Madrid appointed this season to replace Zinedine Zidane, was sacked after a thumping 5-1 loss to Barcelona in the season’s first El Clasico.
The club has now decided to give Santiago Solari the job at least until the end of the season after convincing victories in the Copa Del Rey first leg, Champions League encounter against Plzen and the La Liga game against Celta Vigo.
Real Madrid could receive another boost in the transfer market, as Bayern Munich have reportedly taken the decision over James Rodriguez’s future with the club.

Bayern Munich have struggled in the new season so far, as the club is currently fifth in the Bundesliga. They lost to Borussia Dortmund earlier this month, which has pushed them 7 points behind the top of the table.
James Rodriguez’s future has been speculated over the summer, with many media outlets earlier reporting that the Colombian could make a permanent move to the German club.

Solari’s side will receive a huge boost with the arrival of James, as the club’s forwards have struggled with form and injury. While Karim Benzema has been inconsistent, Gareth Bale and Isco have both been on sidelines for significant periods throughout the season due to injury.
