Jamie Vardy posts savage tweet after scoring twice in 3-0 win over Arsenal

Arsenal suffered a 3-0 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League. Jamie Vardy scored twice and posted a savage tweet after the game.

Arsenal’s hopes for a top-4 finish took a massive hit as the side conceded a 3-0 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power stadium.

This was their third successive defeat in the Premier League. Arsenal’s chances for Champions League qualification largely depend on their Europa League campaign. Alternatively, if Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham drop further points in their upcoming games, Arsenal could secure a top-4 position.

Jamie Vardy scored twice after Youri Tielemans gave Leicester City the lead in the game. Arsenal struggled throughout the game, failing to string four passes together at times.

Unai Emery’s side registered only 77 passes in the first half, which was the lowest from any top-6 side this season.

Vardy, meanwhile, went on to post a savage tweet after the game.

Jamie Vardy’s tweet:

Jamie Vardy trolled Arsenal’s supporter Piers Morgan after scoring a brace against his side at King Power Stadium.

Morgan has been an actively vocal fan of Arsenal on Twitter, and posted a rant against the side following their 3-0 win in the game.

Here’s the tweet:

Leicester City are 8th in the Premier League table with 51 points. However, the Foxes play two tough fixtures to end the Premier League campaign.

Leicester faces Manchester City in the Premier League next weekend, and will host Chelsea for the final game of the season. And so, Brendan Rodgers’ side could hold the key to Premier League title race, as well as the league’s top-4 positions.

While City are in a neck-to-neck fight with Liverpool for the league title, Chelsea are currently at the fourth place and await a vital Premier League clash against Manchester United for the top-4.
