Manchester United has totally outplayed Tranmere Rovers in the 4th round of the FA Cup. In just first 13 minutes the Red Devils scored 2 goals against the League one side.
But Ole Solskjaer’s men did not stop till here and scored the 3rd goal in the quick succession. However, the man who scored the goal incited a sense of excitement amidst Manchester United, as Jesse Lingard registered his first goal for the club in 13 months.
Tranmere Rovers were on the backfoot a little too much after conceding two goals, which allowed Harry Maguire to drift the ball upwards on the pitch.
Soon, The English International found his compatriot and passed him the ball just 25-yards away from the goal. Lingard who has been massively criticized by fans for lack of figures for the club opened his tally by curling a bending ball into the right corner of the goal.
Scott Davies felt helpless as he saw the ball passing by him, which gave Lingard first sense of success in this season. With this, Solskjaer also would have felt relieved as the match seems absolutely in the hands of Manchester United.
