John Cena: Will the Cenation Leader be a part of Raw Reunion this Monday?

John Cena: Will the Cenation Leader be a part of Raw Reunion this Monday? The upcoming historic episode will feature big names from the past. However, John Cena is yet to be advertised for the show.

This Monday the WWE will host a historic reunion on their flagship Raw. The episode will feature a plethora of names from the Attitude Era and earlier. However, there is one name missing from that list. 16-time WWE Champion John Cena has neither been advertised nor mentioned in any capacity in any reports regarding the show.

Post the attitude Era, the WWE was in dire need for a new star to carry the company on his back. Stone Cold was forced to retire early following a series of knee injuries and a serious neck injury. The Rock on the other hand, had made his move to Hollywood, leaving the main event scene rather thin.

This was when John Cena stepped up and kickstarted the Ruthless Aggression Era. Cena first wowed the crowd with his Rapper gimmick and then eventually claimed the top spot with his Never Give up character.

What followed was a decade of complete dominance on all things WWE by John Cena. He took WWE to places it had never been before as he led the promotion as it’s face. However, Cena eventually followed in the footsteps of The Rock and moved towards a career in Hollywood.

Will Cena be on Raw this week?

The Babe Ruth of WWE was in The UK, filming ‘The fast and furious 9’ according to Wrestling Inc. However, he is now back in the U.S. Could it be for the historic episode on Monday?

The interviewer at Deco Drive had the same question in mind. Alas Cena refused to give a straight answer and answered very cryptically, saying “We’ll see”.

With John Cena residing at Tampa Bay (The Location of the Arena hosting Raw Reunion) though, it is still very possible that he may make an appearance on the show. After all, he is one of the biggest success stories to come out of the WWE. Besides his last appearance in the WWE was at Wrestlemania and his last wrestling match was in January, 2 weeks before The Royal Rumble.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
