Jon Moxley: Former WWE Champion believes that Triple H is the right person to TakeOver WWE. He also says that Vince McMahon is out of ideas and can’t adapt.
Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in the WWE has made a quite a splash since his exit from the billion-dollar company. He made a surprise appearance at AEW’s Double or Nothing. A NJPW debut announcement happened immediately after, followed by a tell all interview with another former WWE Champion, Chris Jericho.

Moxley opened a can of worms in his interview but he hardly mentioned Triple H. However, on interviews with Wade Keller and 25yearslatersite.com, he has spoken very highly of the Cerebral Assassin.
The unhinged superstar reiterated his gratitude towards the company for giving him the opportunity to become financially independent. He made mention of how he felt like one of Vince’s guys towards the end of his career in WWE. However, that didn’t stop him from calling a spade a spade as he pointed his fingers towards Vince while identifying him as the problem with WWE right now.
“In the 80’s he was a genius, when he created Hulkamania, took over the territories, and put wrestling on cable television. In 2019 I do not think he knows what is going on. We need to figure it out or step aside and let someone who knows what’s going on takeover.”
He was even more brutally honest on his assessment of Vince in another interview.
“I’d much rather see it change sooner than later because Vince is out of ideas. He can’t adapt. It would be the best thing for him to at least step aside for a while and see what happens. He’s trapped in this bubble that he’s created around himself. He was a genius in the ’80s and knew how to adapt in the ’90s. Neither of which are true in 2019.”
Following the success of NXT as a brand and it’s series of TakeOvers, many believe that HHH should take over creative duties from Vince McMahon.
Jon Moxley also is one of them:
“Everyone seems to like NXT and there’s no Vince on that product. I think he’s (Triple H) the most capable guy of taking over the whole thing.”
Moxley definitely believes that HHH is the best man to take over from Vince.
“He [Triple H] has clearly been preparing for this. When Vince isn’t there, he is the guy you go to, his ideas are his ideas.”
Moxley defined Triple H as being very cerebral and not super collaborative.
He is a guy that thinks about things a lot. I think he is a much better option between the two of them. He would be more open to giving people more freedom. But if he sees something and thinks there is a better way he will come and tell you. He watches television and he is the closest thing to Vince that we have.”
