Jorginho provides his first Chelsea assist against Barcelona 2-1 win in pre-season game

Jorginho provides his first ever assist for Chelsea in a pre-season game against Barcelona, which the Blues won by 2-1 in the Rakuten Cup.

Barcelona faced Chelsea in a pre-season encounter in Japan, both the sides were involved in an exciting contest, but Chelsea were able to win the game with the crucial goals in both the halves of the game.

On the other hand, the Catalan side made unforgivable mistakes that led to Chelsea winning the game. One such event was when Chelsea took the advantage, when Sergio Busquets lost the ball in front of Barcelona’s 18-yard-box.

The sudden loss of the ball enabled Jorginho to make a clumsy touch on the ball, and an unintentional pass was made to Tammy Abraham, after which the Chelsea striker scored a goal after dribbling past Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen.

Thus, giving an assist to Jorginho, even though it was an accidental one. The Italian International has finally made his first assist for Chelsea, but unfortunately in a pre-season game, which are hardly considered significant.

Since the 27-year-old midfielder made a horrific tackle on Barcelona’s new igning Antoine Griezmann, who made his debut for his new club tonight.

The deficit in goal

by Barcelona did not further allow Barcelona to make a comeback in the game. In fact, the Catalan giants took a further blow when they conceded another goal in the dying minutes of the game.
