Jose Mourinho contacts Marouane Fellaini to convince him to join Tottenham Hotspur as the winter transfer window approaches in January.
Jose Mourinho has revived the struggling Tottenham Hotspur after taking the charge of the club, but it is still remained to be seen whether it is just a phase or is Portuguese manager is actually hitting the potential of the squad.
Nevertheless, Mourinho took the charge of the club in the middle of the season and did not have time to bolster his squad. So, the first opportunity he has to do any upgrades is in January.
According to a report by Les Sports claim Mourinho has got in touch with Fellaini over a move to Spurs with the 32-year-old his main priority transfer target in January.
Last time Mourinho worked with Fellaini was in Manchester United, both left the Old Trafford in January 2019, since then the Belgian midfielder has been playing in the Chinese league with Shandon Luneng in January 2019 after five-and-a-half years in Manchester.
He has performed heroically in China, weighing in with 12 goals and five assists with Mourinho hopeful of bringing him back to England when the transfer window reopens.

Fellaini’s contracted with the Chinese Super League outfit until December 2021 with an option of an additional year. Meanwhile, Mourinho is known for having physicality in midfield and he sees Fellaini as a valuable addition considering Eric Dier is not standing up to the expectations.
Although Fellaini would not be an outright regular starter at the club with Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko and Giovani Lo Celso contesting for the central area of the pitch, the Belgian seems to be a viable option in bolstering the bench.
The season in Chinese league is finally over and Fellaini has over 3 months to think about the reported proposal to ply his trade in Europe once again.
