Jose Mourinho opines Ronaldo to be better than Messi and Cristiano

Jose Mourinho opines Luis Ronaldo to be better than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as he claims the Brazilian to be a better talent.

Luis Ronaldo is often regarded as one of the greats to grace the game. Nicknamed as El Fenomeno, his blistering pace and finishing made him one of the most lethal strikers in the world.

Ronaldo won all the accolades with his clubs and country including a World Cup, although, he somehow did not win  Champions League medal despite having a decorated career with all the top clubs.

However, Ronaldo’s talent could not reach its full potential due to the major injuries, which made his career short-lived. Yet, Jose Mourinho thinks that Ronaldo is still better than Messi and Cristiano, even though the latter players won everything possible in the world and have been at the apex of football since more than a decade.

“Ronaldo, El Fenomeno, Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi have had longer careers,” he told LiveScore, per Marca. They have remained at the top every day for 15 years. However, if we are talking strictly about talent and skill, nobody surpasses Ronaldo Nazario.”

“When he was at Barcelona with Bobby Robson, I realised that he was the best player I’d ever seen take to the field. Mourinho also believes the Brazilian superstar could have been even better if it wasn’t for injuries.”

“Injuries killed a career that could have been even more incredible, but the talent that that 19-year-old boy had was something incredible. In 1997, Barcelona played against PSG in Rotterdam and Ronaldo’s goal, 1-0. Awesome.”  he concluded.

However, there are many who would still deny that Ronaldo was better talent wise in comparison to Cristiano and Messi. For a moment, Cristiano can be considered an inferior talent, who worked brutally hard to call himself as one of the greatest players to ever live but Messi is considered to be a special talent and is lauded for his naturalism.

Nevertheless, Mourinho is known for his controversial comments which usually arouse eyeballs. On the other hand, there is no denial that the three players mentioned above were special and made the game even more beautiful with their skills.
