Jose Mourinho statement after sacking: The former Manchester United manager issues a statement after leaving the club.
Manchester United parted ways with Jose Mourinho two days after the club suffered a dreadful 3-1 loss against Liverpool.
United announced the decision through their social media handles, and published an official statement on their website. Manchester United thanked Mourinho for his services, and wished him luck.
During his time at Manchester United, the club won three trophies, which include its first-ever Europa League title. United also won the Community Shield, and the EFL Cup.
However, it all went downhill in Mourinho’s third season at the club, as Manchester United are currently 6th in the league with only 26 points from 17 games.
Jose Mourinho has finally broken silence over his departure from the club.
