The biggest transfer saga of the summer may be coming to a close in the coming days, as Neymar is inching ever closer to completing his move to PSG.

The Brazilian was reportedly quite upset at the Nou Camp last year, as he felt that he was feeling slighted by the Barca team. Neymar believes that he has paid his dues, and now wants to take over as the Numero uno at the club.

But that is not going to happen as long as Barcelona’s current number ten remains in town. Lionel Messi’s latest contract extension will ensure that he remains at Barcelona for the next four years.

Privately, Neymar felt that Messi would leave Barcelona this summer. Messi’s contract extension though has changed everything.

Now the attacker wants to leave, as he believes that only then can he fulfill his dream of winning a Ballon d’Or. While he remains at the Nou Camp, Neymar will forever be in the shadow of the great Messi.

Now a journalist close to Neymar has revealed that he is also upset with the way Barcelona have sold all their Brazilian players.

“The original motivation of getting Coutinho was to keep Neymar happy.

“Neymar is not too pleased with the fact that Barcelona have been selling their Brazilian stars.

“He wants to have a couple of Brazilian pals in the team and that’s why there was that rather strange pursuit of Paulinho earlier in the sumer.

“That’s the original motivation and the question then is, if Neymar is no longer still at the club, do they proceed?

“They wouldn’t be buying a pal for Neymar, they’d be buying someone to play in his position.

“That keeps the possibility open that if Neymar does go then they will try to carry it through.”
