JUST IN: Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra join the Royal Challengers Bangalore
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have already made enforcements to their think tank in the form of Kirsten and Nehra, to help them with the IPL auctions that are slated to take place on the 27th and 28th of January in Bangalore.
With Daniel Vettori set to resume his duties as the Head Coach, Kirsten and Nehra will be joining his team in a bid to form a structure for the Bangalore franchise.
Gary Kirsten, the 2011 World Cup winning coach and Ashish Nehra(who was also in the 2011 World Cup Team) could prove to be brilliant signings, as the duo have a lot of experience of the Indian conditions, and have been involved with the T20 format for a long time.
Nehra will in all probability be deployed as the bowling coach, an area where RCB have struggled heavily in the last few seasons.
Gary Kirsten will assist Daniel Vettori carry out the head coach duties, and by the looks of it, it seems like this partnership could flourish big time.
Kirsten has already coached in the IPL, during his rather drab stint with the Delhi Daredevils in 2015.
Nehra retired from the game, after the 1st T20 against New Zealand in Delhi, and will be coaching for the first time.
