Kai Havertz to Chelsea: Blues reach an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for Havertz, one step away from becoming a Chelsea player.

Kai Havertz was long speculated to join Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen and the Blues have now stepped up their efforts to make the young German maestro their player.

According to Fabrizio Romano, both clubs have reached an agreement, “Total agreement to be reached on nest hours with Bayer Leverkusen. Last bid is going to be accepted. €80M + €20M add ons as a final fee. Last details and paperwork time.” he tweeted.

Shortly after this, Romano tweeted “New bid submitted three days ago. Bayer Leverkusen told to Chelsea on last night… they’re going to accept. Same today morning with Havertz himself. Paperworks time is now on.”

As of now, a personal agreement between player and Chelsea is not revealed yet but sources and trends signal that it won’t be a huge problem for the west London club.

Kai Havertz to Chelsea and other signings makes Chelsea a club to look at

Kai Havertz is among the top talents in Europe right now, meanwhile, Chelsea has already signed his compatriot Timo Werner from RB Leipzig making the attack magnificently strong, keeping Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech in mind.

Meanwhile, Chelsea is also ready to sign Thiago Silva from PSG, who has probably played his last game for the French club in the Champions League final with his contract ending.

On the other hand, reports of Chelsea winning the negotiation game with Leicester City for Ben Chilwell are also optimistic, as the Blues are set to sign him for £50 million.

If the last two deals for Chelsea becomes a reality then it would be a failure for Frank Lampard if he finishes below top-3 in the Premier League table next season.
