Kepa and Ben Forster share heartfelt moment after thrilling injury time showdown

Kepa and Ben Forster share a heartfelt moment with each other after the Chelsea keeper saves header against the latter in injury time.

Kepa Arrizabalaga had a great game against Watford in the 11th game-week match last night, as Chelsea won the match against the Hornets by 2-1. Although, Frank Lampard’s men certainly had a problem in grabbing three points.

By the 70th minute, Chelsea looked comfortable in the match with a 2 goal lead and a win was certainly near. However, in the 78th minute, Jorginho made a foul on Gerard Deulofeu, which was detected by VAR.

With this, Watford bounced back in the game after converting the penalty and the match took a dramatic turn as the Hornets tried their level best to get an equalizer.

The attempts by them continued till the final whistle, and each passing second looked like a struggle for Chelsea. In the injury time, It all came to a head during the very last kick of the game.

When Chelsea keeper Arrizabalaga pulled off an incredible save to deny Watford No.1 Ben Foster from scoring an amazing diving header to pull his team level and register his first goal for the club in the 97th minute.

Foster could barely hide his disappointment at the miss during a post-match interview, but in a heartwarming act of sportsmanship, the two men shared an emotional embrace as the final whistle blew, each man recognizing the other’s skill and acknowledging the strangeness of the situation.

With this Chelsea finally able to earn three points from the game, and secured third position in the table with 23 points after 11 games. As the title race proceeds further, the Blues are mounting pressure on Manchester City, who are competing against Liverpool for the top spot.
