Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in big trouble with the WWE
In a recent turn of events, It has been confirmed that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were sent home after the taping of Smackdown in Manchester. Sources also confirm that they have been pulled out of the European tour.
Owens and Zayn made their appearance in the opening segment of Smackdown which resulted in a match between Zayn and Kofi Kingston. The back and forth quick match resulted in a victory for Kingston.
After the match, it was planned for Zayn and Owens to assault the New Day only to get fended off. In pro-wrestling terms, this is known as “feeding”. Apparently, the duo ignored the instructions provided which resulted in an awkward ending to the segment which left the viewers puzzled.

The purpose of this segment was to make the New Day look strong ahead of their rumoured clash with the Shield at the Survivor Series. The act of ignorance came to the attention of the WWE Officials who proposed the punishment with Vince McMahon’s approval.
Apart from this, it has also been reported that Owens was screaming loudly for a long time on the WWE tour bus. This incident might have just added more fuel to the fire.
Several people backstage have also reported that The Prizefighter and The Underdog from the Underworld have been immensely tough to work with.
The recent releases of Neville and Jimmy Jacobs might be a factor considering the fact that they were close to them. Besides that, they are unhappy considering the way they have been booked after their alliance.
As of now, no updates have been provided on their return and they are most likely to miss Survivor Series since they are not part of any storyline.
Stay tuned for more updates!
