Krzysztof Piatek admitted that he likes Arsenal, but went on to troll the side. Funnily, Arsenal fans can relate.

Krzysztof Piatek has been on fire ever since he joined AC Milan in the winter transfer window.

The forward has scored seven goals in as many games for the side across all competitions and has already emerged as the key player for the Italian side.

Milan have climbed up to the fourth position in the league table and is only two points behind their arch-rivals Inter. The side is unbeaten ever since their loss to Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana in January earlier this year.

Needless to say, Piatek has been one of the biggest finds of Serie A this season, having scored 18 goals in the competition already.

In a recent interview, Piatek opened up on his interests in other clubs. He talked about PSG and Arsenal, but while talking about the latter, he also took a slight dig at the London club.

“I have 2 favourite clubs abroad,” Piatek said.

“Arsenal, although as you know, it’s hard to be a fan of Arsenal because you have to suffer immensely.

“I also like PSG. This is my favorite club in Europe. I hope they win the LDC. (Champions League)”

His comments are something the Arsenal fans can certainly relate with. The side, after largely unsuccessful years in Wenger’s later stages of his Arsenal career, brought Unai Emery in the summer. Arsenal underwent a major reshuffle which saw them sign five players in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are currently 4th in the Premier League table but has been quite shaky over the past few weeks. Unai Emery’s issues with Mesut Ozil have further aggravated the concerns at the club.

However, it seems that Emery and Ozil have made peace as the former German international made a start for the side in the mid-week game against Bournemouth.

Mesut Ozil scored the first goal of the game and assisted the second as Arsenal registered an emphatic 5-1 win over Eddie Howe’s side.

The side faces a tough test later today as it takes on its North London rival Tottenham Hotspur. A win for Arsenal would leave the difference between the two sides to only one point, with Tottenham currently 3rd in the league table.

Piatek also stated that he wanted Paris Saint-Germain to win the Champions League, which raised the hopes of many PSG fans.

The side is currently 2-0 up in the tie against Manchester United, and await the second leg at Parc des Princes next week.

Milan, meanwhile, were knocked out in the group stages of the Europa League, and have picked up pace since the early setback in December. The side is in the semifinal of the Coppa Italia and will host Lazio in the second leg of the competition next month.
