Aubameyang wins Arsenal’s player of the month: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was adjudged the club’s PoTM for December.
Arsenal have had a shaky last month, as Unai Emery’s side performed inconsistently in the Premier League, and were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup.
Their year ended with a crushing 5-1 loss to league leaders Liverpool, and Arsenal are currently 5th in the Premier League table.
However, their striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was among the goals for Arsenal, as he netted in on five occasions and assisted twice throughout the month. Justifiably, he was awarded the Arsenal’s player of the month.
While Aubameyang happily accepted the award, he also made a remark on the game against Liverpool, where he was performed particularly badly.

His performance against Liverpool was scrutinized by fans and pundits alike. Throughout the game, Aubameyang made only 13 touches on the ball, with six coming from kick-off.
And as he received the player of the month award, he also remarked about his performance against Liverpool.
