Middlesex will be taking on Lancashire in what will be the second Quarter Final of the Royal London ODI Cup. While Middlesex finished on the 2 nd spot in the South Group, Lancashire finished on the 4 th position in the North Group. Let us see the best Dream11 team for this match.
Wicket-keeper for LAN vs MID Dream 11
There is not much competition for the wicket-keeper's slot here unless you do not want to invest heavily in your man with the gloves. Dane Vilas, captain of Lancashire, has been batting beautifully and may come in at No. 4. He is worth the price at 10 credits as if he has a good day, not having him in the team would be suicidal.
Bowlers for LAN vs MID Dream 11
There are some fierce bowlers in both these teams and that makes me want to change my strategy and go with 4 bowlers for this match. Their performances have been telling and it is hard to ignore these 4 bowlers based on their performance in the competition so far.
Saqib Mahmood of Lancashire has been bowling some good lengths and picking up wickets at regular intervals. He even has a 5-for against his name a few matches ago. We need wicket-takers so surely pick him up.
Tom Helm and Toby Roland Jones of Middlesex are my next two picks. Their right arm medium pace has troubled many batsmen and these two have managed to form a great bowling partnership. They pick wickets even during the middle overs and that makes them a huge asset.

My last bowler is a spinner in the form of Nathan Sowter. Sowter has been very impressive and has picked up a huge bunch of wickets. Leg spinners are ruling world cricket and this young man is surely getting there. Bring Sowter in for sure!
All-rounders for LAN vs MID Dream 11
I have picked as many as 3 all-rounders for this match since they can contribute with both bat and ball and these 3 cannot be ignored after their performances.
The first all-rounder to walk in to the squad is another former Proteas international cricketer, Roelof van der Merwe. He has been in superlative form with both bat and bowl and has contributed significantly to Somerset. He can prove to be the difference between both these teams.
He generally bowls his 10 overs and smashed some big ones towards the end. Lewis Gregory also makes my XI on the back of some very impressive performances. He has batted well down the order and plays a significant role for Somerset at the death. Death overs produce more wickets as the batsmen try to accelerate.
More wickets mean more Dream11 points and hence, Gregory needs to be in. My third all-rounder for this match is Brett D’Oliveira, the Worcestershire skipper. He bats at No. 5 and bowls his 10 overs more often than not. In addition to this, his great form makes him a fantastic fantasy cricket potential.

Batsmen for LAN vs MID Dream 11
Four batsmen make it to my Dream11 team for this match. The only Lancashire batsman in my team is Haseeb Hameed. He is not in the best of form but Hameed can change that around quickly. He seems overdue for a big knock. Hameed fits the bill best because he opens the batting and will get to face more balls. His opening partner, Jennings, comes at a higher cost and hence, Hameed it is!
Nick Gubbins will be my next batsman. Gubbins has been in superb form and in the last 3 matches, he has 2 scores of 90+ and a 47 while batting at No. 3. We can expect him to come good again and thereby, make him the vice captain.
Sam Robson also makes it to my team. He will open the innings and has been in superb touch having scored a 79 and a 106 in the last 3 matches. One more good match for him should hold my fantasy team in good stead.
My last pick would be the other Middlesex opener, Max Holden. He is a fantastic batsman and in the last match, he displayed his class by scoring 166 off just 139 balls. He also scored a 40+ score a couple of matches back. Holden is also a must-have player in the squad and can be a good candidate for captain or vice captain as well.
