Leaked image appears to show the winner of 2019 Ballon D’or winner as France football magazine is set to announce the winner on Monday.

The Ballon D’or award is given to the best player in a football calendar year. In the present edition of the award, either of Lionel Messi, Virgil Van Dijk or Sadio Mane are deemed to win the award.

But in a photo leaked online claiming to be the actual result of Ballon d’Or 2019. In the photo, it has been revealed that Messi will be winning the award with 446 points on the table.

Followed by Messi, his closest opponent in the race has been revealed to be Liverpool’s star defender Van Dijk and on the third position with 382 points, his club teammate Mohamed Salah has been placed 3rd with 179 points.

On the other side, Cristiano Ronaldo for the first time in 9 years will be not in the top 3 spots of the award and is at the 4th spot with 133 points. The list further goes down till the 10th spot.

The list includes a majority of Liverpool players as Sadio Mane and Alisson Becker have also been given a place in the top-10 list. Considering Liverpool won the Champions League last season, hence it is reasonable to see them.

There’s no evidence to confirm this list is accurate and we’ll only know for certain on Monday. Many think that Van Dijk should deserve the award ahead of Messi but the Dutchman advocated for Messi winning the award as he believes that the Argentine International is the best player in the world.

Messi also won the FIFA Player of the year award, meanwhile, Van Dijk was awarded UEFA Player of the year award, and was also the best player in the Premier League last season.
