You walk into your office and you see that your chair doesn’t feel the same. Something is off about it. From the swivel to the height, how would you feel?
In a series of iconic commercials in the 2000s, ESPN used the trope of an office to illustrate how weird it would be for sportspersons to be a part of everyday life.
In one such advert, LeBron James comes to the office, only to find that his chair is not the same.
LeBron James’ throne gets swapped for a swivel chair
LeBron walks into his cubicle and sees that his chair feels much smaller than usual. In fact, the swivel is also off. So he peeps into his neighbor and hilariously finds that his “throne” has been swapped.
The neighbor is none other than the legendary broadcaster, Scott Van Pelt, who also vehemently denies that he swapped the chairs. Oh (Great) Scott!
