Lionel Messi Pepsi ad: Lionel Messi posted a behind-the-scenes video from the Pepsi advert yesterday.
Lionel Messi is one of the best footballers across the generations. He is capable of doing anything with a football on his feet.
However, a recent video has left many of the fans scratching their heads.
The Barcelona star posted a behind-the-scenes video from a Pepsi advertisement last night.
He was seen placing the bottle at the top of the football, before chipping it through a hoop. The bottle then flips through the air and lands perfectly.
Various fans have argued that the video is fake. But it’s Lionel Messi, so we can’t really jump to conclusions, can we?
Take a look at the video:
Normally we’d be calling this fake, but then again, it’s Messi 🐐

While some have stated that the speed of the bottle changes as it comes down, others have argued that Pepsi’s logo faces perfectly in front of the camera after the flip.
This is not the first time when such a debate took place, though. In 2005, Ronaldinho shocked the world when he repeatedly smashed the crossbar with his shots for an advert with Nike.
As with the debate with Messi’s video, fans were in split over their opinions.
Lionel Messi, meanwhile, is having another stellar season with Barcelona. The forward is currently the highest goalscorer in the league as Barca stand comfortably at the top of the table.
The forward picked up an injury in his thigh during the game against Valencia last weekend, and while he made an appearance in the Copa del Rey clash against Real Madrid earlier this week, he didn’t train on Friday, according to Marca.

Lionel Messi has been key to Barcelona throughout the years, and the current Barca president, Josep Maria Bartomeu spoke in length about the club’s preparation for Messi’s retirement.
Earlier, Victor Font, one of the presidential candidates for club’s elections in 2021, stated that he is in talks with Xavi over his return to the club as sporting vice-president to prepare for life after Lionel Messi.
