Liverpool vs Barcelona: Kopites set off fireworks outside Barcelona’s hotel late at night in attempts to disturb Catalan players.
Barcelona will face Liverpool at the Anfield to play the return leg of the Champions league semi-finals. In the first leg, the Blaugranas thrashed the Reds by 3-0.
Thus, the Merseyside club have a mountain to climb in the second leg. Barcelona are being considered favourites to qualify for finale by winning this round, but Liverpool fans are not ready to quit soon.
In an attempt to disturb Barcelona fans, few Liverpool fans set off firecrackers in front of the Hilton hotel, where Barcelona players are staying. According to reports, the noise in the area started at 2 am in the morning, with the noise going on till 4:30 am.
However, Barcelona’s players certainly were not disturbed by the noise as a a spokesperson for the Hilton told the Liverpool Echo that there were no noise complaints filed.
Whereas, several videos of Liverpool fans bursting crackers in front of the hotel are circulating online. The actions of Liverpool fans are an imitation of Ajax fans, who did the same thing before clashing against Real Madrid a month ago.

Liverpool fans are absolute assholes. Bursting crackers to disrupt sleep of players, pushing locals into fountains, chanting unparliamentary stuff to Asians on tour. I understand why people dislike their fans.
